The island of St. Martin is divided between French St. Martin in the north and Dutch St. Maarten in the south. Although the cultural flow transcends any borders, each side manages to retain its own distinct flavor. This 37-square-mile island promises beautiful vistas, first-rate water sports and stunning beaches. Philipsburg is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten. Sandy Ground is a beautiful beach destination in the central area of Anguilla. With its unique beach side restaurants and relaxed night life, you will be sure to make wonderful memories. Sandy Ground hosts the annual Anguilla’s Carnival, which includes beach parties, BBQs and exciting boat races. Overflowing warehouses surrounded a harbor packed with ships from many nations, and a mercantile and architectural tradition was established that has lingered to the present day. Today, Gustavia has adjusted itself to satisfy the increasing number of visiting tourists. Restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops now line streets once busy with merchants, merchant seamen, and adventurers.

Tortola became notorious as the haunt of buccaneers; nearby Norman Island is said to have provided the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. Approximately 80 percent of the population live on Tortola, the largest island in the archipelago. The capital, Road Town, is the administrative and business center of the B.V.I. Its Main Street features typical island-style buildings. Banks, government offices and a small craft village are built on filled land, named Wickhams Cay. While scenic and rugged Tortola offers a number of attractions, the main focus are the beautiful waters surrounding the island. They attract a large number of sailing vessels throughout the year. The annual Spring Regatta is held in Sir Francis Drake Channel, considered one of the best sailing venues in the world. Visitors keen on watersports and swimming will find beautiful white sand beaches and clean, warm waters.

Norman islands has quiet the legendary history as having been host to dreaded pirates, and serving as the model for Robert Louis Stevenson's epic story, "Treasure Island." The island is now uninhabited and is mostly visited for it's beautiful cove, and mysterious caves. Offshore reefs provide excellent snorkeling and diving conditions.

This lovely island situated in the North Sound, east of Virgin Gorda became a BVI National Park in 1988 ... meaning no further development of the island will take place. Prickly Pear lays claim to several of the territory's most wonderful beaches including the ever popular Vixen Point! Swimming, snorkeling, hiking and limin' at the Sand Box Restaurant and Beach Bar are the four main things to do here.
